At 5 years old in Atlanta, GA, Preston’s family knew he had a passion for drumming; during the half-time shows at football games, Preston would be focused on the Drum Major, mimicking his movements, and keeping track of the beats and rhythms. He began learning and training with the drums, and by 8 years old, was playing weekly for local Blues and Jazz bands in bars and clubs around Atlanta. Rather than spending time with other children, Preston worked endlessly in pursuit of his passion, fueling his talent. By 17, he was touring the country with rock band, A Love Not Lost, playing sold out shows, recording albums, and writing music. 

In 2014, Preston made a leap of faith and moved across the country from Atlanta, GA to Seattle, WA looking to further his music career. There, he played with Alternative-Rock bands Vibragun and Black Ferns. Preston is now living in Los Angeles, California continuing his pursuit of his dreams.
